LICHTZWANG
Olomouc ensemble of contemporary music
Lichtzwang was founded in 2016 and its goal is especially to promote Czech contemporary works and to give an impetus to the creation of new works for unusual instrumental combinations. The ensemble´s name is inspired by the eponymous collection of poems by Paul Celan (1920-1970). Lichtzwang: "here goes out what took you from language in a gesture that you let happen, like the dance of two words made of autumns, of silk and the passage of nothingness."
